Educational/Professional Info

Jill earned a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Utah. She did her undergraduate work at Brigham Young University, with a major in elementary education and a minor in family science. Jill currently directs the Speech Therapy department at the Utah State Developmental Center, where she specializes in swallowing and communication disorders in adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities. Some of her other clinical areas of focus include autism, augmentative, and alternative communication (AAC) devices, and aural rehabilitation. She is certified with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed in the state of Utah.

In her spare time, Jill enjoys reading, camping, hiking, and movie nights with her family.
